Such a great raw and visceral image! I say visceral especially because the rose (while I realize it's a -white- rose) seems to me to very very closely resemble a human heart, an upside-down one at that. It's lacking it's own internal blood vessels and it bears a fifth 'ventricle'... but I can't shake the comparison.

I'm not sure you even intended that. Which is something I like about your work, that it has so many concious and unconcious layers of meaning~!

like the layers of meaning, i am doing my work when it takes the control and creates their own meaning, their own significant.
